Director Dashboard Overview

When you sign in as a Director, YeneSchool takes you directly to your personal command centre — the Director Dashboard. Everything you need to run your school is one click away from this page.

The KPI Cards

At the top of the dashboard you will find six summary cards that update in real time:

Charts Section

Below the KPI cards you will find four live charts:

• Weekly Attendance Trend — bar chart of daily attendance rates for the past week
• Finance Summary — fee collection vs. expected revenue
• User Distribution — breakdown of students, teachers, and parents
• Class Distribution — student count per grade level

A full-width School Overview radial chart summarises overall school health at a glance.

Alerts & Quick Actions

Smart alerts appear between the header and the KPI cards whenever action is needed — for example, teachers who have not submitted attendance, or pending enrollments. You can dismiss any alert by clicking the × icon. Alerts return if the issue persists.

!TIP Click Refresh (the circular arrow button in the top-right of the dashboard header) to reload all data without leaving the page.

Navigation Menu

Use the left-hand sidebar to reach any part of the system:

• Academic Years — create and manage school years and terms
• Class Sections — manage grades, sections, and subject assignments
• Timetable — build and edit the weekly schedule
• Assessments — create exams and continuous assessment tasks
• Attendance — view school-wide attendance reports
• Reports — generate detailed reports and export data
• Siren Management — configure the school bell
• Staff — manage teaching and admin staff accounts

!NOTE The dashboard supports both the Ethiopian Calendar (EC) and the Gregorian Calendar. Your school's calendar type is set in Settings → School Settings.
