The YeneSchool Announcements & Broadcast System is the central megaphone for institutional communication. School directors and administrators can draft bilingual notices, attach documents, pin urgent alerts to user dashboards, and broadcast messages simultaneously across multiple delivery channels — including in-app feeds, SMS, Telegram channels, and mobile push notifications.

2. Step-by-Step: Creating a New Announcement
- Navigate to Communications → Announcements (
/director/communications). - Click the + Create Announcement button.
- Complete the announcement draft form:

- Preview the formatted announcement in desktop and mobile preview modes.
- Choose Publish Immediately or Schedule for Future Date/Time (e.g., Schedule for Monday 07:00 AM).

- The AI generates formal, culturally respectful Amharic (ግዕዝ) and English text with official institutional greetings and sign-offs.
- Automatically syncs Ethiopian Calendar dates (e.g., ጥቅምት 15 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም.) with corresponding Gregorian dates (October 25, 2023).
4. Delivery Tracking & Analytics
After dispatching an announcement, view the live Delivery Report:
- Total Recipients: Total accounts targeted.
- Read / Opened Rate: Percentage of parents and staff who have viewed the notice.
- SMS & Telegram Delivery Rate: Delivery confirmations from telecom gateways (Ethio Telecom) and Telegram bots.
- Unread Follow-Up: Click Resend SMS Reminder to Unread to nudge parents who have not opened critical emergency circulars.
