2. How Teachers Log a Communication Entry

1. Open Teacher → My Class → Communication Book.
2. Select the Student (or select multiple students for shared class reminders).
3. Choose the Entry Type (Praise, Homework Note, Conduct, Uniform, Health).
4. Enter the Message Details:
   • Write specific, constructive observations.
   • Attach photos or worksheets if necessary.
   • Check Require Parent Acknowledgment / Signature for behavioral or medical entries.
5. Click Post to Communication Book.
6. The parent receives an instant notification via their Mobile App, Telegram Bot, and SMS.

3. How Parents Review & Acknowledge Entries

1. Log in to the Parent Portal (/parent) and open Communication Book.
2. Unread entries are flagged with an unread dot.
3. Click on an entry to read teacher remarks.
4. For entries requiring confirmation:
   • Click the green Acknowledge & Sign button.
   • Optional: Type a direct reply message to the teacher (e.g., "Thank you Teacher Aster, we have practiced the multiplication tables at home tonight and she is ready.").
5. The homeroom teacher immediately sees a green Acknowledged checkmark on their class register.

• All communication book conversations are private between the designated parents and assigned teachers.
